Welcome to Mrs Nunez's VIPT classroom
Students - Program Description
You will begin your journey in this class by discovering the career opportunities available to you in graphic design, print and online communications. You will learn the output and production skills, software applications, tools and equipment required to perform many of the technical positions offered in the industry.
To ensure that you learn and master the skill sets required to be successful in this industry, it is essential to cultivate your learning experiences by incorporating the appropriate balance of theory practice into every class assignment. Many of your responsibilities will involve completing real-world projects for clients in our school district and organizations in our community.
Completing these assignments will provide you with an opportunity to create a diverse portfolio of your work. This portfolio will enable you to illustrate your experience in graphic design to potential employers and colleges and universities.
Parents - Program Overview
Thank you for the opportunity to teach your child. I am committed to providing your child with an exciting and challenging learning environment. My goal is to prepare your child to succeed in the competitive print and online communications industry.
Visit our website often to view your child’s work. This website will chronicle your child’s learning experiences and illustrate your child’s skill level. I will be updating this site regularly with blogs that include information about class projects, exercises and discussions. The blogs will also provide links to other sites that provide information about the industry.
I look forward to meeting you during the school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via e-mail or phone.
